for Axel lovers

-At School-
You growl and take your seat in the back of the classroom. This is your least favorite class. It immediately turns into your favorite class as your best friend walks in and takes his seat next to you. He has fiery crimson hair that is extremely spiky and emerald green eyes that each have a reverse tear drop under them. He flashes you a smile as class begins. "Hey ________. Anything new today?"
You sigh but smile, "Other than the fact that this class nearly puts me to sleep, nope."
He had a look of mock-hurt on his face,
"So you'd just fall asleep and leave me alone to face that endless pit of useless information?"
He pointed to the teacher.
You roll your eyes and grin "Oh come on Axel! You know that if I didn't fall asleep first, you would!"
Axel grinned and you feel your cheeks turn rosy as your eyes meet his. You quickly look away, and Axel looks a bit puzzled, but he reluctantly turns his attention to the teacher as you have. The end of the lecture. The bell rings. You practically jump out of your seat and go to your locker. Lunch is next. You close your locker and are met with bright red hair and brilliant green eyes,
"Boo!"
You jump, regain your composure (and some dignity) and gently push Axel's face away, smiling,
"Axel! Do you have to do that? You do it almost every time I go to my locker!"
Axel grinned, "Cummon! You know you like it!"
At that, you blush, turning visibly pink.
Axel smiled, "You look so cute when you blush."
He immediately looked like he hadn't wanted to say that and turned a shade very similar to his hair color. You felt your eyes widen, but before you can say anything, Axel clears his throat,
"Ahem, uh...Let's go to lunch." He started off and you followed, hoping your face wasn't too red.

You and Axel walk over to your lunch table. Zexion, Roxas, Riku, Sora, and Kairi are already there. Namine and Larxene arrive soon after, followed by Marluxia.
"Where's Demyx?" Axel asked Zexion, who shook his head, flipping his long bangs around,
"Dunno. I hope he didn't get lost...again."
There was a stifled laugh from Larxene and Marluxia snorted. Sora and Kairi exchanged looks.
Riku rolled his eyes, "He's not lost, the teacher kept him after class to talk to him. He wouldn't stop giggling like an idiot in chemistry."
Roxas shook his head, "How predictable."
Namine laughed. You smile and roll your eyes, taking your seat next to Axel, who was shaking his spiky head with a smile on his face.
Riku looked past you, eyes widening, "Guys! Look ou-"
he was cut off as Demyx came up behind you and Axel, hugging you both and inadvertently squeezing the two of you together.
"Hey guys!" Demyx grinned and squeezed you and Axel closer, forcing him to put his hand on your theigh and you to put your hand on his hip to stop you both from being ripped off of your seats. Demyx pressed your faces closer, and you could see Axel.
His face was bright red and he growled through clenched teeth, "Demyx, you-are-killing-us!"
Demyx loosened his grip, grinning sheepishly, "Oops, sorry."
He took his seat. Your and Axel's hands were still on each other, and you removed yours first, then Axel gently slid his hand off of you, taking a moment for his face to to turn back to normal. You felt your own face turn as crimson as his hair. Sora, Kairi and Roxas all looked from one to the other, slyness stamped all over their faces. Zexion snorted and let his bangs drop over the right side of his face.
Axel growled, "What are you all smiling at?"
Larxene grinned mockingly and pointed at you, then at Axel, "Umm, that would be you. And you know it!"
Axel's eyes narrowed in anger, "Why don't you shut up!"
Everyone fell silent.
Demyx asked, eyes wide with concern, "Axel, are you okay?"
In response, Axel got up and stormed out of the cafeteria. You drop your books and run after the much taller Axel. He went to his locker, bright red standing out against the other beige ones, and banged his forehead against it,
"Why does everyone see it but her? Has she even guessed? UGH!"
he pounded his fist on his locker, still resting his forehead on it. He hadn't known that you followed him. You heard all of what he said and your heart skipped a beat. 'Is he talking about me?' you wonder. Axel had his eyes closed, and you silently walked up to him. By some miracle, he still hadn't heard you. One of his hands was on his locker, and his other was by his side. You gently take his free hand and his eyes snap open, his head turns to you,
"________!"
You smile and squeeze his hand. He turns bright red,
"Did you...hear anything?"
You nod. Poor Axel looked like he wanted to die. He made a face and you couldn't help but giggle. Axel looked pathetic, and you pat his hand with the one that isn't holding it.
"Oh don't look like that! It's no big deal."
Axel sighed, "That's what you think."
You raise an eyebrow, "Is there something you want to tell me?"
Axel swallowed hard and nodded. pawing the back of his neck with his free hand,
"Uh...well...I-I..."
his mouth opened, but nothing would come out. Finally he sighed heavily and closed his eyes, rubbing his forehead with his fingers.
He reopened his eyes and took down his hand, looking into your eyes,
"Okay, here it goes. Do you remember the day we met?"
You nod.
"Well, I don't know if you remember, but that first day, I couldn't stop staring at you. You were so beautiful, more beautiful than any girl I'd ever seen. And you smelled like..."
He cleared his throat, but you prompted him,
"Like what?"
He blushed, "Cherry blossoms. I really liked it. You still smell like it too..."
He shook his head slightly, "I'm sorry!"
You smile, "It's okay. Go on."
He nodded and continued, "Well, that first day I decided I liked you, alot. And now that I've got to know you, I feel like I..."
He paused and blushed. You take his hand in both of yours and hold it to your chest,
"Yes?"
Axel's expression melts and he looked into your eyes, taking the hand you are holding and using it to slightly lift your chin. He whispered,
"I love you."
You grin and almost cry out in happiness.
"You don't know how much I've wanted to hear you say that."
Axel's eyes widened for a moment, then he leaned forward and so did you. You close your eyes and feel Axel's warn, soft lips press against yours. You feel him smiling as he kisses you and you smile as well. You both pull away for a moment, then Axel puts his hands on your face and the back of your head, and you put one hand on the back of his neck and with the other you reach up and knot your fingers into his crimson hair. He brings his face close to yours and runs his tongue over your lips. You open your mouth in response and feel Axel's tongue on your own. As he pulls away he bites your lips gently and then moves down to your neck. He starts to kiss the front of your neck and you lean your head back. He gives you butterfly kisses and then moves up to your cheek, holding the kisses longer. He moves back up to your mouth and kisses you again, and you both press harder against the other, deepening the kiss, and you think, 'Best day ever!'
